Just thankful and lucky that I have a lot of good friends that care about me. <3 Very happy that I got to see Rei while he was here. Going to have a lot of Christmas cards to give out this year. Didn't buy anything from Black Friday though... Least I could shop online and not worry about finding parking and waiting in lines. Feel extremely bad for this guy though:

Seriously, WTF? I don't know what's sadder, the fact that it's at Wal*Mart or being trampled to death by New Yorkers. /facepalm

What the fuck? My dad tells me today he was home all night on Halloween to pass out candy and NOBODY showed up! He left the light on and everything. No trick-or-treaters. This really sucks, my house has about 4 bags of leftover candy and one of my favorite holidays is dying. :c I'd like blame religion, retarded parents, and shitty economy.

Pre-ordered Persona 4 and Eternal Poison finally. Damn you (f)ATLUS and your extra goodies! Will eventually pre-order the Persona 4:Exclusive Social Link Expansion Pack from Amazon. The only thing that pisses me off about it is that it includes the T-shirt ONLY in XL and there's no other available size. WHAT THE EFF?!
In other news, I really cannot wait for the upcoming election. The 8 years of hell is almost over. I belong to neither party so therefore I guess I am a "Swing Voter", cause I can go either way. :3
-Missed out on BlizzCon
-Missed out Minh's birthday dinners
-Mind fucking my head with A Clockwork Orange and Memento.
-Dressing up at AI during Halloween and going to bring a buttload of candy.
-Developed a deep fondness for "Pushing Daisies"

Narrowed down the programs that Ryan and I are interested in from Thursday and Friday, though some of them are maybe's. I am EXTREMELY disappointed about not being able to attend the other two days. Saturday has the entire cast of "Heroes" and Sunday the Winchester brothers of "Supernatural". :c NEXT YEAR! Still, I am super excited for it cause I don't have to work 5 days at AI that week.

Been watching some seasons of TV shows lately and would like a few recommendations and anticipating upcoming new releases. :3
~
Dexter (own season 1): Enjoyed it immensely, looking forward to buying season 2 next month. The only problem I have with Shotime DVDs is that they don't include subtitles.
Dead Like Me (own season 1): Another Shotime series, again no subtitles. This was ok, and a little weird. Some episodes I've enjoyed more than others.
Heroes (own season 1): Bought it at Best Buy for $20 and was a really good deal. Writing, acting, and visual effects were awesome. Thank you Sid for recommending me Heroes. :3 Even though I've heard bad stuff about season 2, I'm willing to watch it anyway. Another August release. Will try to catch up with season 3 on TV.
House M.D. (seasons 1-4 borrowed entirely from Scott): I actually watching House even though a lot of the episodes are kind of similar. The character House is too interesting to not watch.
Nip/Tuck (own seasons 1-4): Always loved watching the drama unfolding in this series, and also lots of sex.
South Park (own seasons 3-10): Got back into South Park a couple years back and can't wait for season 11 to come out. Awesome episodes like "Guitar Queer-O", "The List", and "Imaginationland".
Supernatural (own seasons 1-2): Loved the first 2 seasons, saw most of 3rd on TV.
That 70s' Show (own seasons 3-7): I think the show's really well written and funny, but kinda iffy about getting season 8.
Family Guy (own seasons 1-3): Possibly the only seasons I'll ever own.
The Adventures of Pete and Pete (own seasons 1-2): TV show from my fucking childhood. Very unfortunate they didn't release season 3 and authentic DVDs for Are Afriad of the Dark. :c
The Dog Whisperer (own season 1): Cesar Milan is just awesome. :D
Top Chef: Great show, but NO DVD RELEASES AT ALL.
Carnivale (own season 1): Just bought it so I don't really have an opinion yet. Will finish it this weekend though. :3

I MADE SOME TAKOYAKI!!! Tastes just like real thing with the right ingredients. :3

In other news, going to stop by AX for tomorrow only, mostly likely at the arcade and to hang out around Little Tokyo. Exhibit is out of the question since I have no money to spurge on goodies. Actually checking out other, SMALLER out-of-state cons that sound more enticing.

The puzzle took me almost 3 1/2 hours to finish, from 11:30am - 2:50pm. Looks awesome though, and time to buy a frame for it. :D Having a really good time with GOLD. Totally worth having! Yay for carpel tunnel, cuts on my fingers, and sore arms!

Also to Scott, Carl, and Kai: ( BRING IT ON! )

Stuff going on and upcoming stuff:
Present: Finally started playing Persona 3:FES! (Thanks Scott) It's freaking Groundhog's Day in there but much love for Aigis for being able to SHOOT shadows, lol. Metis is cool too. Also playing a lot of Etrian Odyssey, and I got to B10F. 20 more to go! F.O.E.'s getting easier to beat, kinda. Recently bought Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 (paid $40 for each) so I might start that too. Will eventually buy Nocturne since both play-asia and Amazon have it in stock for $45. Also hearing a lot of good things about The World Ends With You. Still pretty backlogged in games. Doesn't really help that I'm spending LOTS of time on IIDX. Getting around to AAA a few easy songs. Trying to work my way for some lvl 11's, fix my timing and rival data! Other than that, nothing much going on other than AI and trying to lose weight. Will probably get a 2nd job at WaMu or IKEA.
Have not seen Iron Man, not even sure if I really want to. Slightly interested in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Harold & Kumar 2, and the Forbidden Kingdom. Didn't buy Mario Kart for the Wii, though I did enjoy the DS version. My brother's been playing Brawl a lot anyway.
May 30th: beatmania IIDX GOOOOOOOOOLD finally released!
June 2: My beatmania IIDX Candy Bunny vol.2 pre-order from play-asia should be shipped...
June 17: Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. Yes, I prefer buying my DS games opposed to having an R4. >.>
June 21: Will be turning 23! I honestly have no idea what I should do... It's on a Saturday. If anyone wants to hang out, do a dinner, I'm up for it.
July 2: Hancock the movie comes out!!!
July 3-6: Anime Expo 2008 at the LA Convention Center. I'm actually NOT going all 4 days, if anything, just 1 or 2 days. I don't live that far from LA, so I'm just going to drive back and forth. Going mainly for cosplay, manga, H-doujin, gaming, and to see you guys. :3 Hopefully my costume will be made before then.
July 11: Persona 4 released in Japan. ;___;
July 22: Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja Returns
July 24-27: Comic-Con! Thanks to Ryan for reserving a hotel room. :D
Hmm, that's about it for now. Looking forward to another freakishly hot summer.

Finally finished Persona 3 after slaving over 120 hours, and that's NOT including all those hours lost when the MC died. If MC dies = game over. Didn't even get to finish all of my S-Links. Still, it's an awesome game and I am anticipating Persona 3: FES coming out next month. That's ONE backlogged game down. I've also pre-ordered the super special edition of Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis back in January. Another weeaboo game to keep me busy! :3 Still currently working on my IIDX scores and timing. ZOMG IIDX GOLD CS on May 30th!!! It's been THREE awesome years since I've started playing and met fantastic people because of it.
One thing I am super excited about this year going is Comic-con. Because this year Ryan and I will actually get to stay for 3 days and 2 nights. There is also Adult Con coming up in mid April. The last one I went to was in '05 and bought this super cheap Asian porn called "Pacific Rim University" or some crap like that. The girls weren't even that pretty and one girl looked like she had too much chest space between her fake tits. Guess I got what I paid for! As for AX this year, I'll probably just pay for one day to buy more manga and Beatmania IIDX + Phoenix Wright H doujin, if any. Splurged a little too much last year, but it was worth it.
Oh yeah, also finally got a Wii last week! Friend code: 1649 3516 4332 4315
Will TRY to post more often.

i'm pretty sure how 90% of guy's dates go... read the whole thing because it's fucking hilarious. :3 not only that, it sounds very accurate.

Knock knock
Oh hi, how's it going? It's me! Every girl ever. I'm really looking forward to this date. I'm not nearly as attractive as you remember me being because when we met the bar was dark and you were drunk. Come on in.
Let's start off with the unavoidable tour of my incredibly typical post-college-girl apartment.
You'll notice that I went ahead and purchased everything that Ikea and Pier 1 have ever produced. There's my decorative birdcage over there even though I don't have a bird, and there's my gay wicker basket with bamboo poles in it. I don't know what the hell that's thing's all about, but I bought it.
Hey check it out, I have more candles in here than a Roman Catholic Church. Doesn't it smell like Hazelnut!? If I were to light all of my candles at once you could see my apartment from space! I fucking love candles!
Come on into the living room.
Oh, I see you met my cat there. That's "Freddy Paws Jr." Why don't you pet him and act like you like cats even though you hate cats? There you go. Oh, he took a little swing at your eye there huh? Yeah, he'll do that. Hey, let's check out the kitchen.
Hey look at my refrigerator. There are pictures all over it! Look at all these pictures of me and my equally vacuous friends from college! We were so crazy! You can tell we're really good friends because our faces are all pressed up against each other like that.
And check it out, we're holding up alcoholic beverages to the camera in every single picture. That's to prove that we were partying. College was so fun! But of course I don't talk to any of these girls anymore because now they're all bitches.
Let's go back into the hallway!
Hey, before we leave I'm going to go in the bathroom for ten minutes for some mysterious reason. Why don't you sit awkwardly in my big, stupid, round papizan chair over there while you wait for me. It's like you're sitting in a hug! Be right back...
Sorry that took a half an hour, I don't know what the hell I was doing in there. Let's go!
Wow! Thanks for opening my car door for me! I'm totally going to blow that meaningless gesture out of proportion and delude myself into thinking that you're a really good guy because that's what I want to believe.
Well, here we are at the restaurant. No thanks waiter, I don't need to see a menu, just bring me some expensive things. Hey I know, while we wait, I'll tell you all about my unspeakably boring job. I hate my boss. He's a jerk! I might get another job. Maybe something in pharmaceutical sales.
Now let's talk about my family. I love my family. I want you to love my family. I want my family to love you. I want you to make love to my family! I want you to go golfing with my semi-retarded brother Travis. That would be so God damned cute!
Wow! I can't believe I ordered all this food! I have no intention of eating any of it. No thanks waiter, we don't need a box. Just throw it out.
Hey, I've got an idea, let's go to a bar and have an after dinner drink! It'll be great, it will be just like how we're drinking here, only it will be louder and we'll have to stand up. Come on!
See, isn't this better? Oh hey, what a coincidence. Look over there! It's a group of my friends that I knew was going to be here. Let's go over there so that they can judge you!
Hey, I have to go to the bathroom for a half an hour again for some reason. You can stay here and talk to my unbelievably hideous friend Christine! Christine's so ugly she scares kids! Talk to her! She has a job and a family that she wants to talk to you about too. Be right back.
I'm back! Sorry I was gone for three hours, there was a line. I want to go home now.
Well here we are at my door again. This was really fun for me and not you. You should pretend like we're going to do it again sometime! Maybe I'll see you at Target a few months from now and we can avoid eye contact because you never called me. Here, have this awkward goodnight kiss that's as empty as my soul. Good night!

Good night!

anyone up for a nice christmas dinner on friday night? kinda have the old group hang out again then make a trip to ai afterwards. :3
not much has changed since my last post. except for the fact that i FINALLY quit tapioca express. a little bit sooner than i expected but at least neither i nor my family has to drive me over there ever again. i wanted to give christmas cards to a few of my favorite co-workers too.
as of today, i still do not have a car, YET. yes, it's been nearly two months since i've had a car to drive. the only upside is not paying for insurance, dmv crap, and gas. all of which i will start having to pay again when i get another car. :c it kinda sucks even more now that i only have AI as my source of "income". i guess my 'plan' now is to start school AGAIN but in a different school. most likely citrus college because my sister goes there. honestly, i hated school and i see it as a giant obstacle in my way to prevent me from getting a better job/money. right now being dead sounds a lot cheaper than living.
i am still very angry about my things being stolen a week ago. to the point where i want to randomly punch things, thinking a lot about 'killing' them, and praying santa will bring my things back then send the lowlifes in jail for christmas *ahem*. i am NOT giving up, and i have already started to make flyers. haven't printed them yet, but once i have, i will start asking around life plaza and post them at AI. though i am grateful for all support i've been getting, BUT i still have not told my parents this... why? fear and disappointment. i guess that's why i'm not all that close with either of my parents or talk to them about anything personal. anyway, i do hope boss ken still has the hard drive with the video data in it when i come in today...
trying to make the best of my christmas even thought the last couple of months has been crummy... thank all of you for reading and happy holidays! <3

A little off topic but I just had my laptop + PSP got STOLEN two days ago while I was working. I know it's unlikely that I'll get it back but I would at least some help if the thieves ever show up again. There were three guys, two hispanic (one fat, one skinny) and one caucasian. All around 5'9'' - 5'11''.
I've seen them outside of AI smoking before I came in. It was almost like they planned to steal my shit. While I was cleaning, the white guy (wore a blue LA hat and blue t-shirt, borderline wigger -_-) went on to distract me by telling me he had a token stuck in the Crackin' DJ machine. He attempted this twice till I had my back turned long enough for the two other assholes to take my things behind the counter. After I tried to "help" him said he didn't want to play anymore and walked out. Ken was still there but unfortunately did not see them take it from the angle he was sitting and wasn't watching the cameras. By the time I realized my things were gone, THEY were long gone too. Amazingly, they left my purse alone and just took the bag with my PSP, pens, and notepads in it and my laptop. Ken let me watch the security video in his office and offered to lend me the hard drive. Now, I am EXTREMELY angry that they got away with it and they need their dicks chopped off to prevent any demon spawn. I've already went to the police and they said they need a CD copy of the hard drive... which I do not know how to do. Please, any info or advice would be appreciated. I'm trying to think of ANYTHING I can do to catch these assholes and get my things back, including posting flyers around Life Plaza and contacting a psychic.
It just really ticks me off when do as much as I can to help everyone at AI (ie, stuck token, borrow my lighter, look for missing things, bandages...) THIS happens to me. I know I'm ranting here but I would just like my things back, both the laptop and the PSP were gifts. A picture of my laptop:

It's an Acer, it has LOTS of stickers on the inside, two Kid
Robot stickers on the outside, and about 14 inches. The PSP had DJ Max inside + the expensive memory card. So yeah, thanks a lot for reading...

yay, an update! a little late but at least i got most of my pics edited. well, i gotta say that this year's AX is one of badder ones. lots and lots of waiting in line and walking. like most of everyone else, i got sunburned. luckily, my nose finished peeling a couple of days ago and now my forehead is also recovering. i'll try to make this as brief as possible but it will be long, WITH PICTURES! :3
